Memphis, TN – The crucial four-game set between Omaha and Memphis was shortened to three games after Thursday night's contest at Auto Zone Park was canceled due to rain and severe weather. The game will not be made up during the regular season.
The Storm Chasers claimed the season series with the Redbirds, 9-6, and will hold the tiebreaker advantage should the teams finish in a first place tie at the end of the regular season. Omaha currently has a two-game lead over Memphis in the PCL American North.
Sean O'Sullivan is the probable starter for the Storm Chasers when they return home Friday to open a four-game series with Round Rock, which will send lefty Zach Jackson to the mound.
